Conventional Low Shrinkage Polyester Yarn Core Performance Advantages

Low Shrinkage Polyester Yarn has good thermal dimensional stability, steady mechanical properties, and minimal shrinkage. The breaking tenacity is guaranteed to be at least 7.0 cN/dtex for all denier types between 210D and 500D, as well as those above 500D.

The hot air shrinkage of the yarn is controlled within the range of 3.0 ± 0.5% under conventional dry heat testing conditions, which include a temperature of 190°C, a treatment duration of 15 minutes, and a tension load of 0.01 cN/dtex applied to the specimens.

The low thermal shrinkage characteristic significantly improves the final product consistency and dimensional stability of fabrics, braided cords, and composite reinforcement materials, successfully preventing dimensional deformation during high-temperature processing such as twisting, weaving, and heat setting.

Super Low Shrinkage Yarn Ultra-Low Shrinkage Performance and Application Scenarios

Additionally, we provide Super Low Shrinkage Yarn. All yarn grades between 210D and 500D, as well as deniers above 500D, provide a breaking tenacity of at least 6.9 cN/dtex.

The hot air shrinkage of this yarn is consistently controlled at 2.25 ± 0.25% when tested at 190°C for 15 minutes with an applied tension of 0.01 cN/dtex. Because of its ultra-low shrinkage characteristic, fabric dimensions remain stable throughout high-temperature coating and finishing processes. This yarn is widely used in coated fabrics such as backlit sign cloth, tent fabrics, awnings, tarpaulins, swimming pool liners, and architectural membrane materials.

5G Intelligent Closed-Loop Manufacturing System Support

With the support of our core production facilities, our workshop has established a complete 5G intelligent chemical fibre factory. To achieve unmanned yarn collection, we use automatic doffing lines together with German Barmag spinning machines as the main spinning equipment. Automated guided vehicles handle intelligent material transportation within the workshop, while automated packing lines complete the sealed packaging of finished industrial yarn. From spinning, doffing, and material transportation to final product packaging, the entire production process is connected via a 5G network to monitor equipment operation data, identify product flaws in real time, optimise production parameters remotely, and significantly reduce manual intervention. This creates a closed-loop smart manufacturing system.
