Continuous Basalt Filaments Woven into Technical Cloth
Continuous basalt fibre threads are interwoven into a particular fabric structure to create basalt woven fabric. Woven fabric is made by interlacing the yarns.It's different to non-woven materials, which are made by bonding or impregnating fibres or felt. Basalt is a fine-grained igneous rock that is used to make basalt fibres. Basalt rocks Squeezs through tiny nozzles and melts at temperatures between 1400 and 1600°C, creating continuous basalt fibres. After that, these fibres are weaved into robust technical textiles.
