Throughout the production process, linear density, breaking strength, elongation, and oil content are tightly regulated to provide consistent production performance. While regulated oil content ensures smooth operation during weaving and twisting, a low CV value helps assure great yarn uniformity between batches. Even after heat treatment, the final product's dimensional stability is guaranteed by low dry heat shrinkage.

Nylon 6 yarn for rope is offered across the full denier range - 210D through 5040D - with heavier sizes like 2520D, 3360D and 5040D commonly used for thick marine and mooring ropes. Breaking strength on raw white grades starts at 18 N per end for 210D, reaches ≥112N at 1260D, ≥150N at 1680D, ≥158N at 1890D, ≥210N at 2520D and goes up to 280 N per end for 3360D. On dope-dyed colored grades, tenacity reaches 7.0–8.0 G/D depending on denier. Breaking elongation stays consistent at 23±3% across the board, and dry heat shrinkage at 160℃ for two minutes is capped at 7.0%, so finished rope dimensions stay stable after heat setting.
