One-Step Spinning-Drawing Manufacturing Technology

In order to eliminate the extra drawing phases needed for POY semi-finished products, our Nylon 66 FDY yarn (fully drawn yarn) is made using a high-speed, one-step spinning-drawing method. In addition to making the customer's subsequent twisting and weaving process easier, this in-line drawing guarantees that the molecular chains are fully orientated right away following extrusion. A specially made Barmag 8-spindle system with automatic constant-tension winding is used to spin the yarn in order to keep the filaments on the spool uniformly aligned. Each spool of our Nylon 66 FDY yarn efficiently eliminates batch-to-batch performance differences thanks to this technology and an integrated Luwa environmental control system that guarantees consistent spinning temperature and humidity.

Stable Physical-Processing Performance

During drawing, physical characteristics like uniform fracture toughness and narrow linear density deviation stay constant. For high-speed looms and twisting machines, an adjustable finishing oil content (between 0.4% and 1.0%) is designed to minimise friction and filament breakage. Additionally, it offers better colourfastness than PA6, making post-dyeing or pigment dyeing finishing of coloured textiles easier, and boiling water shrinkage is 5-9%.
