Aramid chopped fibres are short-length, aromatic polyamide fibres that are precisely cut and used to reinforce composite matrices. These fibres are different from textile-grade staple fibres because of their surface treatments that are best suited for blending with rubber and resins, as well as their tighter length tolerances. Our para-aramid chopped fibres disperse uniformly throughout friction composite matrices without clumping or bundling thanks to their consistent cut lengths and superior dispersion characteristics.
